Cami was trying to beat the heat while really pregnant and in labor. You could tell she was really uncomfortable.

Early this morning Cami gave birth to a big 4 pound buckling.  She was supposed to have twins but there was just an empty sack where the other should have been. This being my first round of deliveries I was in a panic.  So of course my hubby got online and was researching what that meant.  We didn’t want there to be a second one in there and it die.  It would have put Cami in danger.

The “little” buckling got stuck and I had to pull him out.  He was up and nursing within minutes.  

Cami and her buckling are doing very well.  She is totally in love with him and is being a fabulous mother.  

The night she delivered I fell asleep on the cot in the birthing room.  I had a dream she had a little black and white buckling and we named him Pepe’.  

So guess what….the little black and white buckling will be named Pepe’.
